The paper discusses the most relevant theoretical and applied issues related to designing and implementation of works on oil-contaminated water bodies treatment. Main stages of operations have been outlined; specific features of water and bottom sediment treatment and bank strip reclamation technologies dependent on different degrees of contamination and confinement to the water/protective zones have been identified.
