This paper analyzes the situation of vocational training providing human resources for developing marine economy in Tra Vinh Province. Accordingly, theimplementation of vocational training development strategy is a prompt solution to create a technical competence labor force in rural and fishing areas, which contributes to the marine economic labor market. The research results show that the effective use of financial resources from the projects, along with the strategic and synchronized investment in vocational training for rural people, fishermen of Tra Vinh Province. Thereby, the paper proposes some solutions to take advantage of favorable conditions, overcome difficulties, combine various forms of training, and coordinate with many domestic and external agencies, organizations for developing vocational training associated with the development of marine economy in order to meet the requirements of the international integration context nowadays.
