The sea and the marine economy are particularly important in the development process of coastal localities, especially in the context of strong internationaleconomic integration and the 4.0 revolution currently. Based on analyzing the status of marine economy potential and advantages of Tra Vinh Province, the study proposes six solutions for sustainable marine economic development of the province in the coming time, which contribute to socio-economic development of the province and the whole Mekong Delta region.
