The article presents the results of research on the effect of modification on the chemical composition and contamination by non-metallic inclusions along the length and cross-section of ingots modified with a fine mixture of powders. It was found that the introduction of a modifier reduces the heterogeneity of the cast structure structure Changes the chemical and phase composition of non-metallic inclusions, reduces their size.
