Intensive care is an expensive medical procedure or third, fourth and fifth level of health care that is performed on a patient after resuscitation and re-establishment of cardiac arrest, severe trauma, more complex surgery, and the patient's conscious state in a specially equipped facility. wards - in the hospital wards and the emergency medicine clinic. Contemporary Intensive Care Medicine deals with the treatment of the most difficult patients or "critical conditions at risk of life and those who currently stabilize vital functions but may at any time deteriorate.The purpose of this paper is to present the care, education and treatment of patients in an intensive room at Acibadem Sistina Hospital.During the period (2014-2018)Materials and methods: Archived data from Acibadem Sistina Clinical Hospital - in the intensive care unit. Data on total number of patients in the intensive care unit over a period of 5 years (2014-2018): Consulted part of the staff: nurses, anesthesiologists, physiotherapists and doctors who have excellent knowledge and experience with severely ill patients, and the data obtained are presented graphically, tabularly and numerically.Results and Discussion: Data obtained from the Acibadem Sistina Hospital in the Intensive Care Unit Skopje show that over the years the number of patients in the intensive care unit is increasing, in 2018 the number of these patients is the highest and 81 while women there are 42 and men 39, which is a large number for a private hospital. In previous years the number was lower and in 2015 there were 40 patients out of which 26 were men and 14 were women. the treatment and care of these patients besides being very attentive, with protective equipment since such patients can easily become infected due to low immunity, the patients themselves require the care of a professional team and trained nurses who perform their top and highest quality work in medicine.Conclusion: Intensive care is an expensive medical procedure or third, fourth and fifth level of health care performed on a patient after resuscitation and re-establishment of cardiac arrest, severe trauma, more complex surgery and unconscious patient situation, in specially equipped wards - in the hospital wards and the emergency medicine clinic.
