The paper presents a comparative analysis of the most important operating characteristics of fastening systems type SB and W14. A review of the applied elastic fastening systems for concrete sleepers was shown. The results of laboratory tests carried out in accordance with the applicable European standards PN-EN 13481 and EN 13146 series have been described synthetically and other operational characteristics such as track gauge regulation, stress control, possibility of track extension and complete of elements of fastening system in the production concrete sleeper plants.
