Psychological and Pedagogical Support of Adults after Cochlear Implantation - Five-Year Observation Experience

Введение. Эффективность кохлеарной имплантации (КИ) с позиции обеспечения восприятия акустической информации и улучшения качества жизни пациентов с высокой степенью тугоухости и глухотой доказана сегодня многочисленными исследованиями в области аудиологии и коррекционной педагогики (сурдопедагогики). Цель. Изучить результаты слухоречевой реабилитации взрослых пациентов с длительным (пять и более лет) опытом пользования системами КИ. Материалы и методы. В статье представлены актуальные данные о результатах слухоречевой реабилитации в ФГБУ НМИЦО ФМБА России взрослых пациентов с длительным (пять и более лет) опытом пользования системами КИ. Исследование включало следующие направления: ведущий способ общения; образование; трудоустройство; возможность воспринимать обращенную речь на слух. Результаты. Подчеркивается важность в период настроечных сессий и между ними на протяжении пяти лет после операции организации психолого-педагогического сопровождения, вовлечения в процесс реабилитации родственников для формирования у пациента активной жизненной позиции. А для всех взрослых имплантированных пациентов специалистам необходимо учитывать множество факторов при построении индивидуально-дифференцированного маршрута слухоречевой реабилитации. Заключение. Важно, чтобы и в период настроечных сессий, и между ними на протяжении пяти лет после операции для всех взрослых имплантированных пациентов было организовано психолого-педагогическое сопровождение. Introduction. The effectiveness of cochlear implantation (CI) from the position of ensuring the perception of acoustic information and improving the quality of patients’ life with a profound sensorineural hearing loss and deafness has been proven by the numerous studies in the field of audiology and correctional pedagogy (sign language pedagogy). Purpose. To study the results of auditory-speech rehabilitation of adult patients with long-term (five or more years) experience in using CI systems. Materials and methods. This article presents current results of auditory-speech rehabilitation in adult patients with a long (five or more years) experience in using CI systems in the following areas: the leading way of communication; education; employment; the ability to perceive the addressed speech aurally. Results. There is emphasized the importance of organizing psychological and pedagogical support for all adult implanted patients during the speech processor’s fitting sessions and between them for five years after the operation, involving relatives in the rehabilitation process in order to form the active life position for them. Specialists need to take into account many factors when designing an individually differentiated route of hearing and speech rehabilitation. Conclusion. It is important that psychological and pedagogical support is organized for all adult implanted patients both during the tuning sessions and between them for five years after the operation.
