Development of General and Private Algorithms for Pharmaceutical Consultation of a Patient in a Pharmacy

В связи с изменением функций провизора-рецептара розничной аптеки, связанных с необходимостью проведения фармацевтического консультирования пациентов по лекарственным средствам (ЛС), реализуемым без рецепта врача, по постановке диагноза (контроля верности самодиагноза пациента) и подбора ЛС, необходимым становится стандартизация этой процедуры с целью повышения эффективности консультирования. Исходя из этого, были разработаны алгоритмы общего консультирования и частного (при венозной недостаточности), которые позволят провизору соблюдать современные требования к консультированию и минимизируют вероятность ошибки при оценке симптомов пациента и рекомендации ему ЛС. С целью оценки профессионального уровня фармацевтического консультирования в розничных аптеках Минска было проведено интервьюирование провизоров-рецептаров и фармацевтов-рецептаров методом тайного покупателя . Проведенные исследования позволили сделать вывод об уровне консультирования в аптеках и необходимости дальнейших научных разработок в этой области. Due to the changes in the functions of the pharmacist of a retail pharmacy, related to the need for pharmaceutical counseling for patients about medicines (drugs) sold without a prescription, about diagnosis (control of the accuracy of the patients self-diagnosis) and selection of drugs, which requires standardization of this procedure in order to increase the effectiveness of counseling. Based on this, algorithms have been developed for General and private counseling (for venous insufficiency), which will allow the pharmacist to comply with modern requirements for counseling and minimize the likelihood of error in assessing the patients symptoms and recommending drugs to him. In order to assess the professional level of pharmaceutical consulting in retail pharmacies in Minsk, interviewing pharmacists-prescribers and interviewing pharmacists-prescribers by using the secret buyer method were conducted. The research made it possible to draw a conclusion about the level of consulting in pharmacies and the necessity for further scientific developments in this area.
