The article is devoted to the functioning of the Police in the context of the terrorist threats. It describes the basic tasks of this dispositional group in prevention, counteraction and neutralization the effects of the activities of a terrorist nature. The analysis includes statutory powers of the Police in connection with the new Anti-Terror Law and issues related to this legislation.
