The paper discusses the features of creating a multi-purpose computer-aided simulator of robotic systems (UKS RTS) at the Cosmonaut Training Center, analyzes its experimental development and use in the process of training of cosmonauts, and identifies the reasons for further modernization. The results of updating the constituent parts of the RCS RTS and retrofitting the simulator with new elements that provide an expansion of its functionality are presented.
