César Vallejo y la identidad nacional en la escuela peruana

Los textos escolares publicados por el Estado peruano presentan a César Vallejo como un escritor que explora diversos tópicos en su poética, pero sin profundizar en ninguno de ellos. Algunos, como el amor eros, el humor, la reflexión estética o la cárcel, han sido trabajados de manera poco didáctica, limitada o nula.  En el caso de los poemas de compromiso social, se ha soslayado su matiz político marxista privilegiando el amor ecuménico que ellos poseen complementariamente. Asimismo, se ha privilegiado una imagen dolorosa del poeta. Este hecho difunde un conocimiento inexacto y parcializado del vate santiaguino. El objetivo de este artículo es analizar qué características posee el símbolo César Vallejo en los textos escolares vigentes. Para responder a esta interrogante, se ensayará la siguiente hipótesis: el símbolo Vallejo apoya la identidad nacional propuesta por el Estado. ABSTRACT Schoolbooks published in Peru depict César Vallejo as a writer who explores diverse topics in his poetry, but without probing deeply into any of them. Some themes, such as eros love, humor, aesthetic consideration, or imprisonment, have not been studied in a didactic way, if at all. With regards to the poems about social commitment, his Marxist slant has been avoided, privileging the complimentary motif of universal love. Additionally, the poet is often associated with great pain and suffering. This fact spreads an imprecise and incomplete knowledge of the bard from Santiago de Chuco. This article aims  to  analyze  what characteristics the symbolic image of César Vallejo possesses in current-day textbooks. To answer this question, the following hypothesis is proposed: that the symbol of Vallejo supports the state-sponsored national identity.
