Los heraldos de una estética

El ensayo es una reflexión acerca del sentido (no solo la significación) en el primer libro de César Vallejo: Los heraldos negros. Tomamos como punto de partida la noción pergeñada por Michel Foucault de signatura, entendida no como ausencia del signo sino como su grado cero. Desde esta perspectiva nos concentramos en el poema-íncipit, de título homólogo al libro y «Espergesia», el poema-éxcipit bajo el método de indagar no solo por la apertura y cierre del poemario, sino también, y sobre todo, en calidad de representar los lugares semiológicos más emblemáticos del libro, para poder interrogar acerca del saber y la tensión fundante entre yo sé y yo no sé, una pareja que tensiona epistemes tanto como modalidades de la lengua coloquial. De este modo, se intenta, además, responder, a través de la dupla saber/no- saber, el conflicto de la crítica vallejiana entre cristianismo y marxismo. ABSTRACTThis paper reflects on the sense (not only the meaning) in the first book of Cesar Vallejo: Los heraldos negros (‘The Black Heralds’). As starting point, it is considered the notion of signature presented by Michel Foucault not as absence but zero-degree signature. From this perspective, we concentrate on the book’s poem title, incipit, and on the poem «Espergesia», excipit, using the investigation not only for the opening and closing of the book of poems, but also and above all, to represent the most emblematic semiological places of the book, to be able to ask about knowledge and the based tension between I know and I don’t know, a couple which stresses episteme as well as the forms of colloquial language. Thus, this paper tries to also respond through the knowing/not knowing pair, Vallejo’s critical conflict between Christianity and Marxism.
