The article discusses the main aspects of the architect's work with the normative documents used in technical regulation in the construction of buildings of educational institutions in the Russian Federation and the Belgorod region. The analysis of the current standardization system confirmed the relevance of the studied problem, which is determined by the need to solve an important state task – the creation of a safe and high-quality modern building of secondary schools for construction in the Belgorod region and the justification of a fundamentally new system of views on the process of architectural design of buildings of general education schools in modern conditions of the Belgorod region. The author considers the improvement of information support for working with the regulatory framework in the architectural design of buildings of secondary schools in the Belgorod region as an important resource and potentially effective tool for the work of an architect. For this purpose, the author has developed proposals for creating an interdepartmental regional information system of normative documents (RISND) for architects of the Belgorod region.
