This article brings up the topic of economic growth and the huge reserves of the Russian economy. The material also examines the impact of the worldwide spread of coronavirus infection on the economy of our country and the welfare of citizens, on the economic results of Russia. The author studied the relationship between the reserves of our country and its economic growth, the country’s economic results are still highly dependent on the petrochemical processing industry, there is dependence on partner countries. The author identifies a strategy and action plan for leading Russia to stable economic growth, and the article also examines the economic problems of our country. The author analyzes the situation in the country during the COVID-19 pandemic, economic indicators have decreased in Russia, unemployment has increased and the level of GDP has decreased, but in comparison with other countries, Russia is coping with the crisis quite well against the background of the pandemic.
