En el trabajo se analizan las dificultades más generales y frecuentes que manifiestan los estudiantes de la Universidad Técnica de Manabí, Ecuador en cuanto a la exploración y determinación de problemas científicos y se presenta el proyecto de investigación diseñado para encontrar, por vía científica, una solución a tal situación en el proceso formativo de los profesionales de esta institución de educación superior.

ABSTRACT
The paper analyzes the most general and frequent difficulties that students of the Technical University of Manabí, Ecuador, demonstrate regarding the exploration and determination of scientific problems and presents the research project designed to find, by scientific means, a solution to this situation in the training process of the professionals of this institution of higher education.
