To understand the eects of the pandemic on research in a particular eld, we need to review the existing literature in that eld up to the pandemic period. In this sense, I have synthesized the existing Romanian literature in the eld of digital division among children in Romania. The results of this literary synthesis conrm an acute lack of Romanian data and research in this eld. The pandemic has required in-depth research in this area, and the interests of researchers in the eects of digital technology on children/young people, have become imperative in all areas, especially education.
