The paper considers the application of such a driver of the VI technological order as geocognitive modeling for the implementation of the spatial strategy of the socio-economic development of the Siberian region. The role of this driver for the development of new approaches in assessing the potential of the Siberian Federal District (SFD) is shown. The importance of theoretical approaches and digital tools based on artificial intelligence for the introduction of geocognitive technologies into the practice of state and corporate governance is noted. The prospect of using geocognitive tools in researching the problems of spatial economics is assessed.
