This paper examines the features of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has left a mark on world history. The collected statistical data made it possible to draw a conclusion about the shortcomings of ensuring the biological safety of the population. The most favorable countries were: China, Singapore, Thailand. The article provides an argument for the reasons for such a situation.
