The article is devoted to the issues of mapping the accessibility of the urban area for the purpose of informing citizens about the most convenient routes of movement. The authors propose approaches to mapping accessibility in the environment of geographic information systems. A test geoinformation model of a part of urban area was created and an optimal route for people with visual impairments and for people moving in wheelchairs was build.
