The article describes the methodology of instrumental monitoring of the stability of Karatemir open pit slopes using GNSS technologies. An iron ore deposit was selected to carry out the study. The exploitation of subsurface use facilities developed in an open way requires regular monitoring of the stability state of the instrument array. This is the main task for the safe and efficient operation of the entire field. The favorable conditions for conducting observations and the accuracy of satellite observations are also described. The analysis of the stability status of career slopes.
