The article presents a study of the role of information and geoinformation technologies in the tourism industry. The urgency of the development of tourist web-maps of the Altai Republic for geoportal SSGA is given. The content and structure of the created tourist web-map, as well as the developed algorithm for creating thematic web-maps are presented. The developed system of symbols, as well as the results of the study are given.
