
ANALYSIS OF LIBERAL AND DIRIGISTE MODELS OF CLUSTER POLICY

Based on the results of the research of many countries of the world it is substantiated that cluster policy has a positive effect on the regionals development as well as on the economic situation of the country as a whole. The features of cluster policy are considered from two points of view, which are the dirigismatic and liberal models. The mechanisms for supporting clusters are indicated including measures aimed at state support, improvement of the interaction of companies with each other and with state enterprises, development institutions, and foreign partners. The main disadvantages of the cluster policy of Russia are considered. The directions of increasing the efficiency of the cluster policy of Russia are proposed.
