An important factor and basis for the dynamic economic growth and social development of the society is the modernization of vocational education system. large production associations are in most cases the customers of vocational education. Understanding their experience in training their own personnel, at the theoretical and empirical levels is prerequisite for the further development of domestic professional education. In the article, in the period of 2000–2008, the experience of the organization of industry vocational education was considered on the example of the Ministry of Atomic Energy of Russia (Zheleznogorsk, Seversk), SEI SIPK Spetsmontazh (Siberian Institute for Advanced Training of Personnel Spetsmontazh), Russian Railways on the example of West-Siberian Railway (ZSZHD), RAO "UES of Russia", "Gazprom", "Severstal" and others. The work identifies the reasons for the intensive development of industry-specific vocational education, highlights the features of industry-specific educational programs, defines the principles of the generalization model of interaction IPK (Institute for Advanced Studies), CPC (Center for Advanced Studies) and enterprises.
