Geoelectric models describe the main types of the Cretaceous sediments of Western Siberia. Permeable layers in thin-layered model may be isotropic or anisotropic and include invaded and annulus zones formed during drilling. Galvanic and electromagnetic logs do not provide an accurate resistivity evaluation for thin electrically contrasting layers. The use of special signal transformations partially solves this problem, but 2D inversion provides a more reliable estimation of model parameters.
