The article discusses the structure of the upper Jurassic fluid trap in the Yamal petroleum area. On the correlation shemes constructed on the basis of well-logs, the change in the section of the seal rocks was traced from west to east and from north to south. A reduction in the thickness of the seal rocks and an increase in the proportion of sand and silt material in some areas was confirmed.
