The article discusses the teaching of cartographic disciplines in the global "digitalization" of modern generations. In accordance with the “theory of generations” the main characteristics of generations Y and Z are given. Methodological aspects of teaching cartographic disciplines are formulated taking into account the modern development of society and technology.
