The article shows how to obtain the full formula of the diffraction grating based on Fraunhofer diffraction on the slit and multipath interference. It also provides a description of the computer program "Diffraction_Young", developed at the SSUGT Technology Transfer Center as a part of a project to support teaching of Physics courses.
