Educationisa permanent thing in everyone’s life. Through human education forthe better, it is undeniable that education has colored human life from beginning to end As well as helping studentsto think creatively. This study aimsto determine the effect of animated videos in social studis learning on the creative thinking of fourthgrade elementry school students on the diversity of traditional houses in Indonesia. This research uses quantitative experimentl research with one group pre test post test design. The population of this study were all 21 grade fourth grade students consisting off 11 boys and 10 girls. Based onthe results of data analysis shows that the results ofthe pretest before being given treatment the lowet value is 40 and the highest value is 80 with an average value of 57,14. While for the post test after being given treatment the lowest value is 70 and the highest value is 96 with an average value of 81,04. So, there is an improvement after learning to use animated videos. In there results indicate that there i an influence an the creative thinking of fourth grade elementary school students.
