Synovial condromatosis, focus of cartilage which develops in synovial, bursa or tendon, is a sub-sinovial connective tissue metaplasia. Frequently seen in the knee (70%), male predominance (4 times higher), and old age. CT identifes intra-articular calcifcation fragments and extrinsic bone erosion. MRI exhibits hyaline cartilage non-calcifed neoplasia with T2 hyperintense and T1 iso-hypointense.We report a girl 29 years-old who complained of lumps, pains, and limited movement of the right elbow. CT found multiple calcifcation in synovial, MRI revealed 12x12x8 cm T2 hyperintense and T1 iso-hypointense nodule, without expansion. FNAB and cytology of joint ?uid show no sign of malignancy. Thus synovial condromatosis can occur in the elbow joint of young women, which is a rare case.
