Background: Breast carcinoma is a malignant tumor derived from breast cells and can invade surrounding tissues or distant metastasis, common in women in the world and second highest in Indonesia. Morbidity and mortality rate are high. Recent abroad study about mammography on 2009 in Texas said that the most common form for invasive carcinoma of the breast was mass with calcifcation, whereas the most common form from the previous study on 2008 in Thailand was tissue distortion and spiculated mass. The research in Indonesia on 2013 said the relationship between mammography and histopathology has an accuracy of 71,4-100%.Objectives: This study aims to determine the diagnostic test compared with histopathologic test of invasive carcinoma of the breast in dr. Hasan Sadikin Hospital (RSHS) Bandung.Material and Methods: The method used in this study is a diagnostic test. The study was done from April 2014 until February 2015. The research subjects consisted of 25 patiens.Result: This diagnostic test of mammography compared with histopathologic test of invasive carcinoma of the breast in RSHS Bandung has specifcity of 90-100%, sensitivity of 13,3-73,3%, positive predictive value of 66,7-100%, and negative predictive value of 40,9-69,2%Conclusion: Mammography diagnostic test compared with histopathologic exam of invasive carcinoma in breast cancer patients in RSHS Bandung has high specifcity and positive predictive value, but variabel sensitivity and negative predictive value.
