El consumo les consume

Resumen: Las nuevas tecnologías (Internet, las redes socialesy los teléfonos inteligentes) han modificado nuestros procesos de decisión, de interacción social, de produccióny de consumo. Instalándose en nuestras vidas de forma rápida y a toda velocidad. Las personas nos enfrentamos a una cantidad de información y contenido que nos tiene abrumados, sufrimos una sobrestimulación, siendo incapaces de controlarla ni de gestionarla. Sin embargo, es cada vez mayor el tiempo que se invierte en su uso. La penetración de Internet en nuestros hogares nos lleva hacia la Sociedad Digital, impactando especialmente a las personas jóvenes. El smartphone es actualmente, el principal dispositivo de búsqueda de información, por ser un multidispositivo informático. Hemos normalizado e interiorizado la ausencia de privacidad en la red, cedemos alegremente o resignadamente nuestros datos, dejando rastro de nuestro caminar por Internet (se escapa a nuestras posibilidades). Por último, señalar que Internet se ha convertido en un medio propicio para conductas adictivas y otras patologías o perversiones. Es un fenómeno social y un hecho que no conviene ignorar, por ser un “instrumento ciertamente peligroso”. Installing themselves in our lives quickly and at full speed. Us, people are confronted with such an amount of information and contents that we are overwhelmed, we suffer from overstimulation, being unable to control or manage it. However, the amount of time we invest in their use is higher. The implementation of Internet in our homes is heading us to the Digital Society, impacting specially on young people. Smartphones are currently, the main information searching device as it is a multipurpose computer device. We have normalized and made ours the absence of privacy in the Net, we happily or with resignation give our data, leaving trace of our movements through internet (that escapes our possibilities (control)) Last but not least, pointing out that Internet has turned into a favorable media for adictive behaviors and other patologies or perversions. It is a social phenomenon and a fact that we should not ignore, as it is “certainly a very dangerous instrument”. A world of liquid expectatives has been open to us.
