We live in an era of theinformational societies when we canobserve the new phenomenones on acollective level but also on the level ofindividuality. The domination of theInternet in everyday life of the youngpeople implicates that it is needed toexplore the problem of its impact onshaping a personality, an identity or anattitude of a user. The article relates to theissue of how the young people function inan e-web, especially taking cognisage of aspecific properties of that environment. It isalso an attempt to answer the questionabout the possible role of a family towardsthe dangers a young person encounters onthe Internet. The study especially focuseson the proactive and supportive measures.
