Nowadays, when the international agenda resembles a training ground for ‘framegames’ of influential international players, all political actors try to strengthentheir interpretation and position themselves as a force to be reckoned with. Amongthe propaganda machines that are operating at full capacity the Russianpropaganda machine is the one one of which we should talk about today. AlthoughRussia's soft power is not named among the influential soft power forces in theinternational rankings, its influence in the post-Soviet space is still noticeable. TheKremlin is not a dominant interna-tional actor that would be able to use widely thecomponents of economic or cultural soft power, but the informational influence isstill high. Moscow successfully exploits the contributions of other forces andadopts them to its own interests. Therefore, it is impossible to talk aboutstrengthening the Regional Cooperation in Europe and the Euro-Atlantic Areawithout considering Russia's factor. I will try to briefly illustrate the obvious andhidden scale of information pressure by which Russia, as an external force, is ableto realize its political, military and economic goals. I would also like to point outthat the military actions aimed at expanding the Kremlin's influence outside Russiahave started with military aggression against Georgia.
