The purpose of the study was to find out the factors causing the emergence of the al Gharawain method. To find out the procedure for the distribution of inheritance with the al Gharawain method according to Islamic inheritance law. From the results of the study indicate or in general. To eliminate these irregularities, the settlement of the distribution of inheritance is carried out specifically, in other words, this special settlement only applies to special issues, for example an inheritance problem that must be solved specifically, namely al Gharawain or what is called umariyatain is a problem in the science of mawaris which is when the heirs only consist of a husband, father and mother, or wife, father, and mother.
