In the process of teaching biology, the use of visual teaching aids plays an important role. Along with the content, form and various teaching methods, visual aids are an integral part of the educational process at school. The article discusses the features of using visual teaching aids as one of the ways to increase the interest of schoolchildren in the Biology subject. The results of experimental work carried out in one of the secondary schools in the city of Elabuga of the Republic of Tatarstan are presented. Based on the results of the work, appropriate conclusions were drawn about the effectiveness of the use of visualization tools in the educational process.
