The names of clothing items reflect the peculiarities of everyday life, cultural traditions of the Kyrgyz people in the second half of the 19th century, as a result of which they are a reliable source for obtaining information about the evolution of the vocabulary of the language. Of great importance was the use of the names of clothes in the Broken Sword novel by T. Kasymbekov in a real depiction of historical events, the socio-cultural situation of that time. It can be seen that these names are widely used for stylistic and semantic purposes in the figurative expression of thoughts in a work, in the implementation of artistry.
