It is illuminated history of the fuel-energy complex of Surkhan oasis, the works of the Soviet government that belong to electrification, official documents which were adopted by Soviet government, analysis of statistical materials in this article. At a time when world economical relations have chosen new directions of development and It has begun radical changes on this basis, the controversial situation in the Turkestan has allowed for the timely adaptation of technical innovations and the implementation of large-scale measures to introduce them into the country’s industry. The process of electrification of the Turkestan region has experienced a similarly complex historical reality, at the first colony, after then it lagged far behind electricity consumption in the central regions as a marginal country in the period of Soviet government.
