This article reveals the issues of Islamism — the basis, the ideology of terrorism and its difference from genuine, civilized Islam, as well as the activities of extremist and terrorist organizations, which have a negative impact not only on the economic development of several regions of the world where the interests of leading world authors intersect but also exacerbate the relationship between them.
