This paper is concerned with the developmentof an embedded system for detecting the vehicle condition bymonitoring the internal parameters used in evaluating thevehicle's current health condition. An in-vehicle embeddedsystem is being developed in this project to generate a vehiclehealth report (VHR) whenever the user requires it. Itpredicts future errors, allowing the driver to travel withoutinterruption and avoid accidents. As a result, it warns thedriver of potential errors and assists him in driving safely. The data needed to generate the health report is made up ofparameter values (outputs of in-built sensors) from varioussystems inside the vehicle. Our framework is based on theArduino and IoT stages, which are used to separate variousparameters, for example, motor warming and fuel pipeblockage, for safe and cautious driving. The data is sent toIoT, where it can be checked by both the vehiclemanufacturer via distributed computing and the vehicleowner via the Android application. The equipment unitconsists of an Arduino, a WI-FI module, a portable Androidbased device, and a unique parameter checking sensorsmodule. The ESP8266 WiFi Module is a self-contained SOCwith integrated TCP/IP protocol stack that can give anymicrocontroller access to your WiFi network, which is usedin current generation automotive.
