Telemedicine was defined by theWorld Health Organization as “the delivery ofhealth care services by all health careprofessionals using technology for theexchange of valid information for the diagnosis,treatment, and prevention of disease andinjuries”. In the current scenario of COVID19, telemedicine played a vital role in our live bysaving our time and also by helping us inmaintaining the social distancing norms.Telemedicine consultation helps to minimize thespread of the virus by providing all kind ofhealth care services without the need of goingto the close contact to the clinicians. In our cityboth government and private hospitals haveactively participated and provided their everypossible way of contribution to varioustelemedicine activities. The aim & objective ofthis study is to find out, satisfaction of thepatients in using telemedicine consultationduring COVID-19 pandemic. A Survey wasadministered among 30 patients who hadreceived at least one or more than onetelemedicine consultation to know thesatisfaction for telemedicine consultation duringthis COVID-19 pandemic. The survey was doneamong 30 people between the age group of 30-above 60 year during the year 2021. The surveywas done through Google Form. Participantsresponded to survey questions about theirtelemedicine consultation during COVID-19pandemic. The result of the survey shows,60% people from 30-40 age group, 6.7% peoplefrom 41-50 age group, 23.3% people from51-60 age group & 10% people from above 60age group used telemedicine during thispandemic. My survey also shows that 20% fornew complaint, 16.7% follow up, 33.3% foremergency & 30% for covid 19 related reasonsused telemedicine and it also shows that 30%people for sick or well check, 40% people usedfor safety, 26.7% people used to save time and3.3% people used telemedicine for other reasonfor most recent visit. From my study I found outthat 53.3% people used telephone & 20% usedvideo conference and 26.7%
