Water supply in India is now broadcast ascommunity based demand driven system, under which it’simportant to reinforce capacity of local community exist invillage and small town to improve and manage their ownwater supply system. The drinking water is one among theessential elements required for all components to hold outthe various fundamental activities of lifecycle. Due to rapidurbanization and water inadequacy, continuing a stable andsafe water supply has become a challenge to many cities. Toovercome these challenges water supply system is required.Basics of Water Supply System gives information on thebasic modules of a water supply system, as well as theirinstallation, operation, and distribution, as well as drinkingwater quality management. With the use of digital GPS, astudy of the current population, population from the lastthree decades, daily water demand, flow characteristics, and a survey of the village are conducted for the proposal ofa water supply system. The towns' water supply network isanalysed and developed using Bentley's WATERCADprogramme. Water distribution network systems aredesigned to distribute water from a source to all or anysingle user in a sufficient amount, quality, and pressure.
