Attendance system is very importantin schools and colleges' The student attendanceprogram has many problems such as it may notbe accurate and critical to maintain. Therefore,an existing system that uses a face recognitionsystem increases accuracy and also requires lesstime than other methods. There are manysystems available such as face recognition usingIoT, PIR sensors and so on. With facerecognition, hardware devices are helpful. Butthe challenge is to keep all the nerves properlywithout getting hurt. After learning all thetechniques and techniques we try to use thesystem with Haar Cascade Algorithm with thehighest accuracy among them all. It can takepictures from 50- 70cm. We create a graphicalinterface that takes pictures, builds a databaseand trains the database with a single click. Afterseeing the face it will show the student's nameand roll number. That information is stored onan automatic attendance sheet by time and date.
