Crime analysis and prevention is asystematic approach for identifying and analyzing patternsand trends in crime. The system can predict regions whichhave high probability for crime occurrence and canvisualize crime prone areas. With the increasing advent ofcomputerized systems, crime data analysts can help theLaw enforcement officers to speed up the process ofsolving crimes. Using the concept of data mining, real timeand location data, the system can extract unknown, usefulinformation from an unstructured data. Here we have anapproach between computer science and criminal justiceto develop a data mining, real time and location dataprocedure that can help solve crimes faster. Instead offocusing on causes of crime occurrence like criminalbackground of offender, political enmity etc. we arefocusing mainly on crime factors of each day. To have abetter response towards criminal activity, it is veryimportant that one should understand the patterns incrime. I analyses these patterns by taking crime datasetsfrom the Nigeria Police zone six (6) Calabar, Cross RiverState and town planning bodies. This dataset includesdifferent streets of the city of Calabar. The major aim ofthis mission is to expect which category of crime is mostprobably to take place at a detailed time and places in Calabar.
