The refined aim behind this project is todetect and measure the wrist movements of paralyticpatients with an accelerometer, which is used to conveymessages to the caretaker during regular or direcircumstances. Paralysis is the loss of strength in andcontrol over a muscle or group of muscles in a part of thebody, which many people in today’s world suffer from. Tocater to this problem of the paralytic patients, the wristmovements of the hands play a cardinal role in thisproposed system. Our proposed system works by measuringthe tilt angle detected by the device which is placed on theopisthenar area (dorsal) which is the corresponding area onthe posterior part of the hand. Different tilt angles conveydifferent messages and at the time of exigency with the helpof Wi-Fi module and Blynk application, emergencynotification will be sent to the concerned caretakerfacilitating effective and efficient communication, ensuringfull time attention to the patient’s needs in all thecircumstances.
