At re-utilization and self-sustaining aspectshave become an important factor to survive as humansand also as a part of nature. The issues that we are facinglike climate change, health issues, global warming,pollution, etc. cannot be neglected or taken for grantedanymore. Which makes it important to create asustainable relationship to achieve a balance betweenmanufacturing, consumption, and disposal of everyproduct generated. Reusing industrial waste and recyclingit into viable and sustainable solutions to fulfill theupcoming need for resources becomes a substantialsolution to the increasing quantity of waste from industriesand factories.This paper focuses on industry waste like waste foundrysand obtained from foundries that can be used effectively.Specifically in the scope of foundry industries in andaround Kolhapur, as being a potentially growing foundryindustrial hub. So with such a scenario where the wasteand its generation occur simultaneously. It demands asustainable solution. This brings the focus to the model ofobvious generation and re-utilization. This paper brieflyreviews the opportunity of generating a sustainablesolution with waste foundry sand generated in foundryindustries and its scope of effective re-utilization. Andelaboration about the sustainable approach of theutilization of Industrial waste obtained from the industrialsector in and near Kolhapur, Maharashtra
