As the world pays more attention toenvironmental sustainability, organizations need to paymore attention to solving the global water crisis andminimizing its impact on themselves and the planet.Businesses today have a huge impact on the environmentand make excessive use of available natural resources andemit harmful pollutants. In order to obtain specificinformation about the company's water resources strategyand practices, an exploratory analysis was carried out onfive multinational companies. This article presents fourcase studies of the Corporate Social ResponsibilityGuidelines from Coca-Cola, Mondel?z International,Nestlé and PepsiCo. These multinational companies areinvolved in environmental conflicts. The main focus of thisarticle is to examine the role of business today infreshwater. In summary, four case studies from CocaCola, Mondel?z International, Nestlé and PepsiCo showthat multinational corporations changed their corporatesocial responsibility and reporting policies after theconflict. These companies resolve these conflicts publicly through the media or in their annual or sustainabilityreports, thereby making these conflicts transparent.
