The results of the analysis of the survey of domestic and foreign teachers on the use of social networks, which are necessary for the formation of students’ and the development of teachers’ competences and skills of the XXI century, as well as for their use in the educational process with the purpose of training diversity, improving communication among teachers and students are presented in the article. The results showed that there are a number of common problems for foreign and Ukrainian teachers, namely: there is no system of teachers’ training to new technologies, the availability of safe and low awareness of parents in the use of social networks. The use of social networks is of particular importance in connection with the formation of a new Ukrainian school. The article provides recommendations to teachers on the use of social networks.
