The modern approach to the effective realization of physical experiment is to combine the real and virtual experiments using new learning technologies for the formation of students’ key and subject competencies. Only a skillful combination of computer technology and traditional methods of teaching physics give the desired result: a high level of learning in physics and understanding of their practical application. This paper considers the approach to the organization and holding of educational physical experiment using computer-oriented learning tools. This approach extends the experiment as a kind of visibility and knowledge sources and includes the following steps: preparation; full-scale physical experiments; conclusions. Modern software automates the collection, processing and systematization of data, saves time and effort of students. In general, you can focus their attention on the physical nature of the phenomenon under study.
