This article describes educational experiences in an advanced graduate GIScience courses together with propose specific tripartite (teachers, researchers, and practitioners) contributions. By combining high-quality interoperable data between past and present monitored time using expert software conjointly developed by tripartite cooperation, new designs and applications with a complex thematic topographic map were successfully developed through an intensive work. Conceptual frameworks and practical topics of the application can be different from student to student depending on metadata, geo-referencing, digitizing and topology building, and spatial interpolation and spatial analysis. Former students can work on data they have been introduced into the GIS, taking care of every detail about data, metadata, data models, formats, file relationships, etc. The experience can be easily adapted to other courses in the university over Thailand.
