A historical analysis of systemic issues was carried out, which showed that biomachsystems led to the emergence of ergatic systems. The existing approaches to the plant as a system do not take into account systemically important factors. The task is to develop functional and biomachsystems, first of all, for higher cultivated plants. The modern design scheme of agricultural machines dictated by the theory of biomachsystems is presented.
